The Industrial Thames
Since moving to London I've been fascinated by the industrial past of the River Thames. Areas that now feature luxury water-front apartments were once the trade centre of Britain's industrial machine.
Some areas, particularly those East of the city retain elements of their industrial heritage, opposite and downstream of my home borough, Greenwich being prime examples. So, when I woke Tuesday morning to a thick sheet of fog rolling off the Thames it seemed appropriate to grab a camera and head back to the River bank, shrouded as it was in a Victorian-esque miasmic haze.
There are a few images yet to be added, but for the moment here are four from that erie morning walk!
