Portrait of London

I want to update you on a personal project I'm working on, loosely titled "A Portrait of London." Every now and then I am heading out across the city taking spontaneous portraits of people I meet in the street. I'm hoping to build up a library of portraits that cover the city east to west and north to south, giving a real idea of just how diverse this city is. Here a few of my favourites so far!

A portrait of student nurse, Charlie

A portrait of salesman, Richard

A portrait of textiles merchant, Zia

A portrait of asset manager, Amy

a portrait of engineering Student, Paul

All of these portraits are being shot on a 50mm f/1.4 lens on the 5Dii, usually with a wide aperture (f/1.8-2.8) to really separate the subjects from their environment and give them a common ground to share.

As always, you can keep up to date with me and my work on flickr, facebook, twitter or on my website, www.drewmorgan.co.uk
